Yugunga-Nya PBC acknowledges and pays respects to the Yugunga-Nya People, who persisted over 26 years and came together to achieve Native Title. We also acknowledge the First Nations People of Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

Yugunga-Nya Country

Yugunga-Nya Native Title was determined by the Federal Court and covers over 21,305 square kilometres of land in the Mid-West and Murchison regions of Western Australia, including Meekathara and Cue.

The recognised land of the Yugunga-Nya people.

Registered heritage sites within Yugunga-Nya Country can be viewed using the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage’s Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Inquiry System (ACHIS).
